In 2023, Exploding Kittens had great a presence opportunity at Cannes Jeux and I was thrilled to be the assigned designer to the project. I was given a simple blueprint, and the list of which games went on which walls, as well as the social handles for the pillar.
Given the different styles and assets of each game, I tried unifying the overall look with a "V" composition for most of the walls, focusing the eye to the center and letting it wander to the sides to discover the remaining supportive art. I also added the same large logo placement at the edge of the Wombat and Mantis wall as big indicators to mark the beginning and end of the booth for attendees. The pillar cover was designed to act as the brightest marker to help draw attention to the booth.
I was not given any blank renders to use, so I made the following renders in Adobe Dimension for internal reviews and approvals.



Below Image: The Throw Throw Burrito wall was listed to be in a very crowded walkway, so given the heavy foot traffic, I decided to try and add a photo op as part of the design.

Below Image: This stairs graphic was a later addition, but it was such a fun challenge to work on. Given it was a huge opportunity for exposure, I took a very simple yet effective approach for the brand to utilize the space but be instantly recognizable.
