In 2023, Exploding Kittens introduced its first value travel line called Grab & Game. I was fortunate to lead the design of the box which had 4 main goals: meet specific sizing requirements, utilize a large opening for a better customer experience, be as sensitive to COGs as possible,  and be visually unique against all competitor tuckboxes.
The result was a tuckbox with a cover flap that closed at the bottom. The diecut met the size requirements, looked unique, was naturally cost friendly by being a tuckbox, and the opening provided the customer with a very large opening for ease of grabbing the components. I also designed the opening to help draw attention to the new Grab & Game branding since the customer interacts with that each time they open and close the tuckbox.
