In 2017, the Petersen Automotive Museum debuted Harley vs. Indian, an exhibit focused on the century-long rivalry between the two American motorcycle companies. Since the museum owned two of the motorcycles that would be on display, I coordinated with the Marketing Department to photograph the bikes in the museum's photo studio to use for the ad.
To represent the exhibit's comparison of the rivalry, the ad needed to convey competition. I designed the composition to show the motorcycles "facing-off", and received a great suggestion by the CMO to look at boxing match flyers for further inspiration for the title treatment.
